MECÂNICO is a short film for which I was invited to create an opening animation and end credits. This emotionally charged piece follows a mentally unstable man trapped in a suffocating mechanical routine. For the animation, I portrayed his daily monotony through mechanical tasks and repetitive actions, emphasizing routine's relentless grip.The story takes a transformative turn as he embarks toward freedom. The end credits serve as a striking testament to his liberation - presented frame-by-frame, hand-drawn to symbolize his newfound sense of freedom.
